This Saturday, April 5, 2014, the 7th annual Maui County Agricultural Festival (MCAF) once again celebrates farming’s role in Maui’s economy, environment, and lifestyle.It will be held at the Maui Tropical Plantation.
So excited for Chef Sheldon! He opened the restaurant #Migrant on #Maui. Chef Sheldon beat out 9 other chefs in his category to take the award.

Orchids are not blue, they are DYED blue. When you see “blue orchids” in a bouquet or a centerpiece, they are really purple orchids that have been dyed. They are very pretty, but if they get wet, they CAN stain your dress and your hands. Best to use them in table arrangements and not your bouquet. Handle with gloves if your making your own arrangements.

• 1 ½ oz. vodka
• ¾ oz. peach schnapps
• ½ oz. crème de cassis
• 2 oz. cranberry juice
• Orange slice and maraschino cherry for garnish
Pour all of the ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a glass. Garnish with the fruit.
